After 30 years, Kenwood Vineyards’ Artist Series Cabernet Sauvignon remains the ultimate expression of artistry and fine winemaking. The art featured on every bottle combines with fine wine to make each new Artist Series release an event and every vintage a prime collectible. During its first decade, the Artist Series highlighted works by contemporary artists. The 1987 vintage broke with tradition by featuring a painting from Joan Miro, and in years since, the Artist Series has presented works from other important artists including Pablo Picasso, Henry Miller, Alexander Calder and Vincent van Gogh. Artwork ranges in style from impressionist and romantic to modern and abstract, with Kenwood Vineyards redesigning the label annually to enhance the presentation of each piece. The variety of dimensions, shapes, orientations and backgrounds add drama to the Artist Series package, reinforcing the unique character of the collection.
