Exploring ‘The Six Ridges’
Sonoma is a place made beautiful by the untouched land around it. From the rough coastline, to the mountain ridges, the Russian river, volcanic soils, and the fog. The diversity within the broad range of microclimates is what makes Sonoma a wild and exciting place to harvest grapes. Our Six Ridges range is one that is meant to embody and the express the complexities of that very terrain.
Named for the six mountains and ridges that border our vineyards, this unique range represents the best of Sonoma. The Six Ridges range contains six flavor varietals sourced from different terrains across Sonoma which influence the flavors and tanin of the wines. We have carefully crafted a selection of the top vineyards and best varietals in Alexander Valley, Dry Creek Valley, Russian River Valley, Sonoma Valley and Sonoma Coast to ensure each wine is the ultimate expression of the terroir.
The rough and gravelly soils in the Alexander Valley give depth and character to our Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay find perfect growing conditions in the cool, thick morning fog of The Russian River Valley. Flavors of Sauvignon blanc reach their peak in the refreshing pacific breeze and bright sunshine of the Sonoma Coast. Dry Creek Valley, with its lush and gentle rolling hills, creates the perfect terroir for producing our rich and full flavored Zinfandel and Merlot.
These handcrafted small-lot wines celebrate our winemaker’s commitment to the craft. Each lot is picked, fermented and aged separately to preserve the unique flavors of the vineyard before they are brought together and purposefully blended by our winemaker, Pat Henderson. Try the range for yourself to taste the flavors of Sonoma. This month all Six Ridges Wines are 20% off and 30% off for Club members. Plus, enjoy $10 ground shipping when buying 6 or more bottles. Offer ends March 31st, 2018.
