Lois admires everything about Sonoma and its rugged beauty. It led her to her career today, but it’s also a place she’s passionate about spending her free time in - whether it’s in the community, hiking in the great outdoors or out running with her 2 rescue dogs.
“Sonoma seems to be the perfect spot to let nature gives us her best quality.”
Having completed a B.S. in Chemistry at UCF Orlando and an M.S. in Chemistry at NYU, Lois graduated unsure of which path to take but decided to venture into the wine industry. She first worked a harvest in the cellar at Stag’s Leap Winery in Napa Valley in 2017 and knew she had taken the right path - she instantly fell in love. The following year she travelled across the world to New Zealand to work in the cellar at Giesen for harvest, before joining Kenwood permanently in 2018 as a Skilled Lab Technician.
Outside of spending time with her work family at Kenwood, Lois loves to travel around the world with her husband who she’s been with ever since high school. So far she’s visited 18 countries across 5 continents, but always has more trips in the pipeline.
