Kenwood Vineyards plants trees for National Forest Foundation

“Kenwood Vineyards has a long history of supporting the preservation of the Jack London Historic Park in our hometown of Sonoma, California,” said Jo Adamo, Vice President Marketing, Pernod Ricard USA. “Partnering with the National Forest Foundation is an extension of this support and our commitment to the spirit of discovery, adventure and love for the land.”

“The NFF is excited to work with Kenwood Vineyards to support our national forests. Kenwood Vineyards understands the connection between healthy forests and our quality of life, and they understand the love people have for their public lands. This partnership demonstrates both,” said Bill Possiel, President, National Forest Foundation.

Kenwood Vineyards is committed to supporting sustainability in our communities, through the partnership with National Forest Foundation, and at home. The winery is making every effort to reduce waste, recycle and lower energy and water consumption. All of Kenwood’s vineyards are certified Sonoma County Sustainable as part of an effort for Sonoma County to be the first region verified 100% sustainable by 2019.

The partnership with NFF, which engages Americans in the restoration and enjoyment of our national forests, is part of Kenwood Vineyards’ new and ambitious campaign, The Wild is Calling. Established in the 1970s, Kenwood Vineyards helped found premium winemaking in the Sonoma region and continues to draw inspiration from the wild, rugged land when crafting wines today. The Wild is Calling campaign represents the brand’s insatiable curiosity and connection to the wilderness and encourages Americans to explore the great outdoors and find inspiration in nature. Recently launched, the campaign also includes a food and wine program with compelling digital content that is designed to expand consumers’ palettes as they discover unexpected tastes and authentic flavors paired with Kenwood Vineyard wines.

Those interested in supporting the NFF initiative are encouraged to visit to purchase direct from the winery. The program will be promoted in participating accounts with point-of-sale materials such as menu inserts, coasters and table tent cards.
