2018 Mendocino | Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon
Sourced from two of California’s best regions for Cabernet Sauvignon: Mendocino County and Sonoma County. The cool, foggy climate and exceptional soil composition in the Mendocino County region gives our Cabernet Sauvignon a structured, natural acidity that complements the rich fruit aromas of grapes from Sonoma County. The various Cabernet Sauvignon blocks were picked from September 12th through October 6th and fermented separately. The wines were aged with approximately 30% new oak before final blending.
Winemakers Notes
This Cabernet Sauvignon is layered with blackcurrant, bay leaf and baking spices on the nose. The palate is full-bodied and soft with flavors of black cherry, savory notes and white pepper on the finish.
