The 2009 Reserve Merlot was carefully selected barrel by barrel from our best vineyards. The blend is predominantly from our estate vineyard in the Dry Creek Valley with a small portion from the Sonoma and Alexander Valleys. The production of this truly reserve wine was limited to less than one percent of Kenwood Vineyards' Merlot production.

Fragrant aromas of red currants combine with spicy notes of white pepper; rich full mouthfeel with firm tannins and a slightly tart raspberry finish.

Food Pairing
This deliciously smooth Merlot pairs well with rich pasta dishes, lamb, pork and beef entrees.
