The Lone Pine Vineyard is located in the southern Sonoma Valley at the southeastern base of Sonoma Mountain. Its distinctive sandy-loam soil produces excellent big-bodied red wines with wonderful intensity of fruit. It is named for the large pine tree that grows in the middle of the vineyard; a remnant of the original 1912 farmhouse that was located there.
