Rugged Elements Arrowhead Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Originally planted in 1999, the Arrowhead Vineyard is at the southern end of the Mayacamas Mountain range with slopes up to 25%, making it a hillside, hand-harvested vineyard. Due to the steep slopes and cool climate, the vines of Arrowhead Vineyard struggle under the terrain, resulting in a Cabernet Sauvignon that is concentrated and structured.

WINEMAKERS NOTES

An elegant and powerful Cabernet Sauvignon with aromas of blackcurrant, thyme and toasty oak underscored with hints of vanilla and burnt sugar. The palate displays rich, layered flavors of currant, pipe tobacco and black olive tapenade with plenty of complexity for this wine to age a decade.
